-D.O.B.= 4/10/15 -Age= 2yrs -Height= 14 Hh -Gender= Gelding -Color= Grey ~Temper Level= 2 of 10 ~Riding Abilitiy/Attributes= Currently in training, very quiet, easy going boy ~Behavior Description= Whiskey is out of Goose and Queenie. He is by far one of the best colts weve had, he has the wonderful playful personality with people-pleasing tendencies like Goose and care-taker qualities of Queenie. Were in no rush to sell him because he could easily be a great Therapeutical or lease-able horse with how well-mannered and easy-going he is. He also picked up both of their confirmation and speed racking ability so between that and him graying out to be like Goosie, I cant say enough good about his potential :) He is entertaining to anyone thats out because of his playful/curious behavior and his training is rapid with how intelligent he is. ~Price or Adoption Fee= $2500 ~Located in Lincolnton, N.C. ~ Since were around large machinery/loud noises/animals/or doing sessions- Texting is easiest to get a quicker reply as voicemail usually stays full - 704-240-6003 *Bloodline/Lineage= { EBS DIAMOND QUEEN, BETTER BEHAVE, SILVER DESIGN, MAJESTIC DIAMOND, VIGORS VIVACIOUS, CDS MISSYS MISBEHAVIN, PRIDES GENERATOR, MARKS MOONSTONE, EBS BLACK DIAMOND, BUMMIN LADY, VIGOR, SOLIDARITYS MARIAH, ULTRAS COOL DUDE, THREATS BELLE, PRIDE OF MIDNIGHT, H.F. Have many references of past buyers as we try to stay in touch with everyone, we know you cant guarantee a horse since they have a mind of their own but weve switched out horses or re-trained even years after selling them as we want both to be as happy as possible as well as keep a good reputation :) More information is available regarding leases @ facebook/foxdenfarmskennels Video= Video= https://www.youtube/watch?v=JYDpmpPcZ0Q ~~~Update on 11/17/17* was going to remove old info but figured Id just add an updated commentary to each because most of the horses describe themselves in their behavior & each of the guests or visitors can vouch for the horses :) Much more detail is available at facebook[dot]com/FoxDenFarmsKennels & unfortunately since posting the horses in the Spring we had a lot of construction set-backs so we didnt reply to hardly any for sale inquiries, which you can probably see that all of our guys/gals are used in therapy or family work so no rush in selling them anyway but, with starting more construction, we are a lil more motivated to sell to thin our herd a lil bit so if you are interested or had your eye on one then now is the time finally & yes pleas TEXT only as we are around loud machinery/dogs/etc. + w/ the powerlines here we dont get a lot of the calls so thats why the voicemail stays full ☆ 7042406003 ~ TEXT ONLY Please!!!☆ Located in Lincolnton, N.C. Yes, current Coggins/Vacc. --- As of today; since last posting about Whiskey, hes been under saddle lightly & have in on schedule 3x weekly with hands-on training, doing everything to keep him a gentle therapy prospect and/or family horse :) He has a gorgeous natural speed rack & he is greying out quickly now :) His temper is beyond amazing for anyone to fall in love with and his eager to please personality makes him the perfect companion! He is okay w/ clippers/ trailering/ pretty much everything that our others are aside from full out trail riding yet of course! Even though hes only 2 yrs old, hes everyones favorite as well! ~~~Update on 11/17/17* was going to remove old info but figured Id just add an updated commentary to each because most of the horses describe themselves in their behavior & each of the guests or visitors can vouch for the horses :) Much more detail is available at facebook[dot]com/FoxDenFarmsKennels & unfortunately since posting the horses in the Spring we had a lot of construction set-backs so we didnt reply to hardly any for sale inquiries, which you can probably see that all of our guys/gals are used in therapy or family work so no rush in selling them anyway but, with starting more construction, we are a lil more motivated to sell to thin our herd a lil bit so if you are interested or had your eye on one then now is the time finally & yes pleas TEXT only as we are around loud machinery/dogs/etc. + w/ the powerlines here we dont get a lot of the calls so thats why the voicemail stays full ☆ 7042406003 ~ TEXT ONLY Please!!!☆ Located in Lincolnton, N.C. Yes, current Coggins/Vacc. --- As of today; since last posting about Skye all I can reiterate on him is that he is a great all around pony that everyone loves & well be picky on who he goes to. We had a girl try to help sell him on commission but unfortunately she didnt seem to understand w/ him that he needs the 2-3x weekly riding or consistency because he is smart, beyond smart, our 8 yr & 11 yr old could ride him through dressage moves and small jumping but then he could humble an adult easily, this is just part of the Lipizzaner intelligence and if you try to fuss or fight w/ him youll get the stubborn welsh pony stomp personality. If you ride him & he knows his job or knows who is handling him he will be a solid pony for absolutely anyone, if you toss him in the pasture then only bring him out to show a possible buyer then you just arent going to get anywhere w/ him nor is anything to be expected to help make sure he finds a good honest transition. Skye is gorgeous, always wins, and loves to take his children to the top as well as teach them along the way, he used to be a good therapy pony but seemed to get bored because he prefers to show or do the pony club type stuff & be pampered. As we put in the updated stuff, we will do on-site lease if youd like to get to know him or purchasing plans/payments w/ board as well to utilize the arena/trails. ✬ Update~ 9/15/17 ~TONS OF NEW VIDEOS!!! - changing to all ads but will leave past details on his album so people are able to follow him :) We finally were able to get some good videos of him for everyone that has asked...The new ones are posted in the comments & at the VERY bottom of this update. Skyes price has been reduced to $4200 and details are below, this is to no fault of his own... We had not realized how many people have not gotten responses until updating some of the other ads (he is cross-posted in 90+ places & even some of the emails regarding wanting reply phone calls tied to the ads were going to spam) & amongst requests through the websites there were also showings that werent completed so I understand it looks bad that hes been for sale for months and makes it seem like it is because of him :/ It is not whatsoever, everyone that has been in charge of him has been very busy throughout the Spring/Summer months & hes actually only been able to have a couple of test rides in the past few months, which is a bummer cause he is a wonderful pony & absolutely intelligent as well as inquisitive to any new stuff(the trainer riding him watched him pick everything back up within an hour or so during the videos and complimented his brain a 100 times along with how much potential hed have with someone willing to give him the same time & respect as to what he has to offer- the only negative points were that he needs work on simple stuff with the consistency like giving right away to the bit as the softness would come with more riding frequency & also please keep in mind that the person being videod had never once ridden him so hopefully that explains his versatility to everyone and everywhere...he was trailered, then tacked, & ridden with ease, about like his show days). By reducing his price were hoping someone will overlook his need to be re-tuned as we know this would only take a few rides & hed be back at it in a week or two tops but trainers are $100-$350 so this should help with that. Wed also be willing to let him stay here for a month of free board or an on-site trial with deposit(we have 300+ acres of trails here along with an 80x100 covered arena) so with as many as we have interested we couldnt do anything offsite, plus have had issues in the past with horses coming back out of tune or mis-treated so we prefer to have them stay here. Honesty is the best policy so feel free to browse his photos & older videos, the ones recently posted in our arena were in a hurry & filmed close to a storm so please excuse that, it was the only availability the other trainer had so we were making do with the time-frame but if you want to scroll through his posts & ads you can ask anyone that knows him could probably tell his tale or vouch for him :) We bought him at $8750 a few years ago in a needs tune-up situation with the intention of showing & using him for our daughters but the best laid plans often go astray & I myself can no longer ride non-gaited for health reasons & our daughters are more suited to ride our TWHs with our groups and guests, especially since Skye is 13.2Hh compared to a 15-16Hh walker... With all of this in mind we just want to find a good honest home that will enjoy him and understand his brains and potential. When we were able to keep him consistently ridden he did all of the dressage moves, knows cues with a pelham, as well as even counting his stride during jump courses, he was actually doing that with the trainer in the videos after going over them a couple of times :) Towards mid-session we switched the cross-rails out and he even came over to discuss the new settings. Right after noting the change in scenery he jumped them with no issues but he is one of the most unique and promising ponies youll find, simply by his eagerness to learn and willingness to please his riding companion. In tune & consistently shown he is well worth a 5 figures pony but we would really like to see him go to a home that keeps him vs. re-sell or to toss him around & know that lipizzans are expensive/rare so please only reply if serious and able to give a good loving home. He was a wonderful show pony in the past & I know he enjoys it! The last show we took him to he was the quietest there & even prior to that show he was only ridden one time the week before taking him so with minimal effort he is still a great honest & quiet show companion :) We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience in delays on replies but wed had him with a high commission promised through a friend but due to new job & busy schedule Skye is very much out of tune so he hasnt really been ready to show to people, with the inconsistency he actually had a pony-tude showing the last time but he had not been ridden in a while prior to that so we cant really fault him for it. I hate to post anything to deter from him but I know the horse industry talks and with that showing I myself dont blame him as the situation confused him so hopefully that didnt damage his reputation in the the pony circuits... It wasnt until putting a new person on to do the videos that it was realized how imperative it is for him to have the consistent weekly riding or a child of his own to get him back into the habits or even to just love on him because hes too smart for his own good...If he knows he is riding/working a few times a week he is solid as a rock & eager to do it, if he goes a week or two then has to go work, he acts about like a grumpy man being forced to go to the gym the first time, yes, after one or two rides in the same week hell be his normal self but time/consistency would have to show that :) Thank you for reading through, I know its long but tried to cover what I could think of to save anyone time/questions...
