He is 5 and is an amazingly beautiful Overo (belly splash) Paint horse with two rear stockings and one front sock. He is built very strong and has a real desire to learn. If you love the big build of the quarter horse, this is Tyson. He is 100% sound in the legs, but can never carry weight on his back. X-rays reveal he will never be able to carry weight, however 5 out of 5 vets said he could ABSOLUTELY become a driving horse. Although he has never been broke to ride, he has worn a bridle with a bit and ground drives beautifully all over the property and out on a trail. Tyson has no vices, really loves people and has been the companion horse for all new client horses brought into my barn. Never has there been an issue with other horses, he just gets along. He will make a very beautiful driving horses or companion horse. I am sad by his diagnosis, but 5 out of the 5 vets on his case, said he is comfortable and would not require additional maintenance to keep him that way. Figuring out his back issues and developing trust with this horse was a journey, so only the BEST home will be suitable for him.
