He is a USTPA MOney Earner in both Team Penning and Ranch Sorting, has a good amount of cow. You can open and close gates on him and trail ride til the sun goes down, will cross water without hesitation. Based on his size and cow ability he would make a good heading prospect for someone willing to show him the ropes so to speak, he is large and muscular and this type of discipline would suit him well. He is a gentle boy, a gentleman in the pasture with mares, ponies, colts, donkeys, no matter, hes a good boy, doesnt act up. Practically loads himself into the trailer, stands tied, no vices, stands for the farrier, bathes, will stand ground tight. Hes a wonderful horse and has been a real pleasure to own. I have purchased an open level penner, and unfortunately cannot afford to keep him as well. Although he is good with my 4 young children around him and is gentle as a lamb, I do NOT consider him kidsafe for riding. Hes alot of horse and is very quick.
