| Hogan is a 9 year old JC reg. gelding. Built to be a jumper. Quiet on the ground and under saddle. Ridden and shown over fences by a 13 year old girl winning all but 1 of her classes. Has had 60 days of training in dressage and 30 days over fences. Needs just a little bit of work and he will be ready to haul anywhere you want to show. This guy has been ridden outside extensively and rides in our 40 acre pasture like hes in the roundpen. Has great potential for eventing. No fence scares him. He is very bold over fences and keeps his cool when jumping in the field. As quiet and consistant as you could ever expect a TB to be. Beautiful collected walk and trot. Big round canter. Great laterals. Will sidepass and half-pass at the trot. This is a STEAL for a horse of this quality. But I have to sell two and unfortunately he is one of them. This is an incredible opportunity for someone looking to put some time into a horse that has been started right and have hardly a dime invested in a nice, finished horse. Or even a trainer looking for a prospect to re-sell. Hes sane enough to be a great mount for an intermediate youth rider who has the help of an instructor or trainer to get him completely finished. I had him sold for $3,500 last summer but the girl found out her parents had more like a $10K price range and she decided to take advantage of that and buy a finished Hunter out of Florida. Great manners. Leads, loads, backs off the trailer, ties, clips, etc. He spent 2 years on the track, so nothing scares him. He was retired without injury, just wasnt quite cut out for racing although out of the great sire, Kiris Clown.
