| | Sachem is a 13 yr old, 16 H beautiful black TB gelding. He is extremely intelligent with a real sense of humor. He is by Pembroke and out of the linkage mare Coosawhatchie. He has done BN eventing, hunt trail rides and been a “guest” horse for hacks. He has a healed injury to his right hind flexor tendon that will now limit him to pasture/light hacking. He also has arthritic changes to both front fetlocks, but has been sound on them since 2004. He’s always been easy and calm to ride. Sachem raced 61 times before he was 7 and won almost 116K. He emerged from his racing career calm, sensible, and self-confident, with no vices. He was ridden bareback a few weeks after his last race.
