| This super sweet and safe trail mare is smooth smooth and very enjoyable to ride. My husband the beginner rode her the other day for the first time and he commented she does everything you ask. Madison is a rich dark chocolate with flax mane/tail She will go in any position on the trail and does not get all upset when the other horses are away from her. She is sure footed and really takes care of her rider. There is no buck, spook, rear or bolt in her. She is willing and fun. Would trust a medium experienced child on her. Our daughter has taken her 2 year old son on Madison, this is how trustworthy she is. She follows along nicely and loads easy, stands for farrier fine. No vices of any kind. And shes more lovely in person than on the picture(winter hair is starting!)I would recommend MAdison also for an older person as shes very dependable and very smooth . Madison does have the FULL Rocky Mtn papers and is certified to breed, though we used her mostly for a trail mare, not a breeding mare.
