He is registered TWHBEA and has an excellent pedigree. I sold Asher, as they came to call him, 5 years ago to The Jacobsen family in Delaware. Sandy was the typical customer that comes to us. A (upper-[Sorry Sandy]) middle aged lady, novice rider needing a confidence builder, that had severe back problems, who was making the switch from quarter horses to gaited horses. They came down took a look and make the clear choice of Pushers Walking By Midnight who was just a 3 coming 4 yr old at that time. After Sandy saw that the gaited horses were going to allow her to ride for several more years the rest of the family came back and made later purchases. Her husband Chuck bought a 3 yr old named I’m Big and Rich and their daughter bought a horse named Romeo. You can go to the testimonial page on our website and read all about their experiences. Sandy has had Asher riding in numerous states ranging from Connecticut down to South Carolina with lots of stops in between and too many national forests to list. She has encountered all type of wild life while riding him including bears. They have ridden through all kinds of covered bridges, tunnels, and encountered lots of hikers and bickers. She said that he has more personality than most people. Sandy’s exact words to me were “this horse has been nothing less than PERFECT for 5 years and he has never done anything wrong or even made a single mistake!” She also said that “he was my confidence builder and that he has always taken care of me on the trails but I am ready to move on up.” As time has went on Sandy progressed as a rider, and the rest of the family tends to move out faster when riding. Now there is nothing wrong with that but with a horse like Asher, he is not in a hurry to go anywhere at all and takes his time slow and easy. He does move on out but he is the perfect horse for a complete novice or beginner to ride. Asher is a real confidence builder and he will teach you how to ride. He would be the perfect family horse! He will always walk slowly or move on out with ease. Asher has a smooth runwalking gait where he will shake his head and a good racking gait. He has a laid back disposition and one of the sweetest personalities that you will find! Asher is easy to catch, clip, bath, tack-up, load, and handle. Asher has had 3 months of professional gaiting, trail and bombproof training. He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATV’s, over large noisy tarps and has also had guns shot off of his back. Just like everything we say about our horses, we have the videos to prove it. No matter where he goes or what he does, Asher is not spooky acting. On the trails he is always great! Asher has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and Tennessee and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed.
