| Candy is a beautiful chocolate dappled rocky moutain mare. She is a nice trail horse and has a nice smooth gait. I bought her about 4 1/2 months ago and was told she was broke for anyone to ride. I have found she is best suited for an intermediate rider as she will at times decide she is in charge. She has never offered to buck, bite or kick but she will need an occasional firm hand. She came from a 1 horse owner and has since been put in a pasture with other horses & gets along just fine with them. I have not given her the bonding time and she has since grown rather attached to her herd. I do not have the time to dedicate this re-bonding that she needs since I have another primary horse. She is barefoot and has very nice hard hooves. She is UTD on wormings, vaccines, & coggins. She is too young to stand in our pasture and would make someone a wonderful horse. I may trade for the right GAITED gelding suitable for a beginner. No more than 15 hands of equal quality. |
