| Very splashy 3 y/o paint pony mare, perfect size around 13 hands rides like a horse not an onery-snotty pony. Can be ridden by youth or small adult (my daughter riding her is 5.4) Sugar is Very well started with a summer of solid riding out on the trails and in the pen. Trained by a 14 year old (now 15 in August) She has been hauled in both stock trailers and slants. Sugar has an exellent whoa,She will back ,she is fabulous at flexing, she will sidepass both to the left and to the right, Sugar Knows all about the lunge line. She has been ridden bareback and double. She has been ridden down the road through town.She will go through a trail course with finness and out on the trails she has a nice stride and keeps up with the big horses, will cross the mud water and bridges.She has very ladylike ground manners,stands tied wherever she is hitched. She has had shoes on this summer and is good for the farrier. I wont say shes perfect,so if your looking for a finished pushbutton pony go on to the next add.... she is still a young lady learning the ropes but she has a solid foundation and with the right treatment she will exell in any venue she is directed in! Its never to early to find the perfect 4-H project for the next show season or if you are looking for an awesome family pony, Sugar could be the pony for you.!
