| | Maverick is a very well bred quiet quiet gelding for sale. Hes young but very friendly and very willing to please. Crosses water, safe around tarps, dogs, 4-wheelers, traffic, shows, ect... He stands just shy of 15.2hh and is sharp enough to show in halter. Movements about an 8+ and suitable for hunter under saddle or western pleasure. In training to put finishing touches on him for shows and is such a pleasure to ride. He jumps a solid 26 jumps in the arena with lots of scope and snap for higher jumps. Was started slow and correctly to bring him along. Hes got a nice stride to the fences and takes off when you ask and is honest enough for youths or beginner riders to school on. Young, sound, honest and sane. Temperament of that of a 10 year old gelding. Hes a solid horse and rides in a light snaffle, gives to the bit, backs under saddle, w/t/c and is working on doing 6 jump courses. Is 100% sound and will back up with vet check. Has a coggins and up to date on everything. This boy even just did a 25 mile trail ride on Skyline drive 10/14/2009 and came off sound and happy. Crosses water, rocks, even did not spook when we ran across 3 different bear cubs in the woods. Very easy keeper and a sweetheart to boot.
Nothing bad to say about this horse, owner is just changing directions and looking for something different.
