| Danny is a beautiful 4 year old bay Appendix gelding. He is 16 or 16.1 hands and I expect him to grow a little more. He has absolutely beautiful movement out in the pasture, and would be a great dressage or hunter/jumper prospect. He spooks at nothing, so cross-country or eventing could be possible disciplines as well. My father was playing with his .22 and 12-gauge a few weeks ago and Danny was fascinated by the guns, didnt even spook with the slug! He stands to be groomed, cross-ties, stands for vet and farrier. Great with worming and shots. Loves to be groomed and doted on. Has some respect issues, but is fine as long as you demand his respect from the start. Not for beginner riders. I would say he has a temperament of 4. He likes to bully horses low on the totem pole and annoy alpha horses, but is easily put in his place. Being turned out with an alpha stallion would do him some good! Had 60 days under saddle in Spring 2008, and I rode him the week we brought him home with no problems. At the time I was recovering from an unrelated spinal injury, and the next week my doctors took me off the horses. He has not been ridden since then as I am nervous to get on him and get hurt if something happens. He could go into western, but with his size and movement, I would really love to find someone to make him a dressage horse. I do not have the time or money right now to make that happen. It really breaks my heart to sell him, as Ive had him since he was 7 months old and adore him. Willing to sell or trade to an approved home. $1200 is negotiable. Please call 419-492-2689 and ask for Ellie, Dave or Marianne with questions or email Ellie at e.williamson7@yahoo for pictures. Thanks!
