| Maggie has gone to a great home with lots of kids to love her.
Buyer never got to come see Maggie, so she is relisted.
Maggie is a good old girl, about 20 years old. Our daughter has graduated to another horse, so Maggie hasnt really been ridden for a year. She is sound, was ridden 17 miles from town to the farm this summer at a trot/gallop, no ill effects (kid was tired). Maggie has good feet and legs. One healed scrape on near hind leg from before our time with her, it does not bother her.
Horse seems to gear down for kids, screaming and nonsense doesnt seem to faze her. When younger, our daughter ran behind Maggie while I was saddling her and fell over the mares hind leg. Maggie grabbed herself, but never moved (and didnt deliver the well-deserved kick.)
When Maggie is in heat, you need to park her. She was injured in her last foaling and mustnt be bred again. The people who owned her before us said they did competition roping on her, she really wants to get in the box. Perhaps because of this, Maggie is no pleasure to follow cattle on. But we dont rope.
