| | Oklahomas Gold Rush is a Registered Quarterhorse gelding. He is absolutely stunning with his dapple palomino coloring. He is 8 yrs old and is a big boy at 16.2hh. This horse has a ton of potential for any discipline. He is by far one of the most comfortable horses we have ever ridden. He will go english and western. He neck reins like a reining horse and direct reins as well. Engages hind end nicely. He is very sensitive and responsive. He moves off of leg and responds to seat pressure. Very light on the bit. He can do the slowest little jog or move out into an extended trot. He has an incredible slow lope that you could ride all day long. He knows how to back, side pass, lead changes, spin in both directions, and will stop to woah. Stands for mounting and dismounting. He is a great willing jumper and Currently jumping 3ft. Not spooky at all. He is the perfect trail horse. Very confident in the front but will follow other horses as well. You can ask him to stop and stand while others gallop ahead and he could care less. You can turn him around from the group and go off by yourself without an objection from him. Will go over anything that you ask him to. As big as this boy is he is a total love. He is very friendly and loves attention. Stands for grooming, tacking, picks up feet, ties all day long. This horse will get you noticed in the show. Oklahoma could excel at just about any discipline english pleasure, western pleasure, roping, reining, gaming, dressage, or hunter. We recently took Oklahoma to a local gymkhana and he did excellent! He was totally comfortable being in a loud new place. He did excellent in all the events that he had never seen before. He even placed 3rd in flag drop! $5500
