| Bambi is a 16 year old, 16 hand Chestnut Thoroughbred Mare. She may be 16, but she has the energy of a 5 year old. She loves to work and be loved . She was raced a few times in her younger days but she didnt enjoy it. Bambi LOVES to jump. She is a spunky, but safe horse to ride. She never spooks or bucks. She likes to be little forward but she certainly does not run away with her rider, even if you have hard hands. You can flat Bambi on a looser rein, but keep enough contact so she knows you are there. She is an extremely athletic mare. Bambi will go around very nicely in a cute frame if you relax on her. She w/t/c, lunges and jumps. She has both flying changes. I would recommend jumping under the watch of an instructor as she can get a bit excited sometimes over fences. She is located in Cicero, NY. An in-barn lease is available, however we do not have an indoor yet. Bambi will go to an approved home and barn only.
