| Leos Pride N Passion is a beautifully built, full and muscular, dun appaloosa mare with a bold dorsal stripe and dark points. She has a very small amount of roaning and spotting, but does carry the appaloosa color gene. Puncan was trained and ridden by her original breeder/owner at 3 and 4 years old and then purchased as a broodmare for our farm. She has not been ridden here, so she would need restarting. Puncan is built for work or trail, intelligent and strong willed. She would do well with a confident trainer/rider to give her a good restart.
Puncan has a fine pedigree. Her bloodlines return to the Executive, Dreamfinder, Mighty Bright, Romans Strawman, Prince Plaudit and Leo. Her first foal was a red dun fewspot colt that now resides in Italy as a stallion prospect. Puncan has been bred in late march 09 to Nuggets Super Shado, our blue roan, black spotted near leopard stallion. This stallion is homozygous for black, so a grulla, dun, or bay foal with color are likely. She comes with a live foal guarantee. The stud fee will be refunded if Puncan does not deliver a healthy foal in 2010 or you may rebreed her to any of our stallions.
