| Pilgrim is an outstnding 6 year old palomino AQHA gelding. He is too small for me, but he is very muscular and very correct. Just about any one can ride him and was rode by his owner/breeder and her 8 and 12 year old daughters. I have ridden him alone and with another rider. He is a little nervous when rode alone but does great with another horse. He had not been trail ridden until I got him. I have been off of him for almost a year due to a health issue and now able to ride again but need a taller horse. I would recommend a confident teen or adult when on a trail ride alone until he is rode on the trail more. My daughter rode him with only a halter and lead 9/5. He is very gentle (maybe too gentle) with no buck, bite or kick, and can be caught anywhere because he will come to you anytime he sees you. He loves everybody. He ties, stalls, loads and very easy for the farrier. He has his feet trimmed every 60 days and is up to date on coggins and was wormed 8/20. He would not be for sale or trade if he was a little taller. I would rather trade him for a 14.3 or 15 hand horse of equal value that is safe and sound than sell him. |
