  | | At the 2009 AQHA Region 1, Regional Experience Buddy won the Green Working Hunter, Open Working Hunter, Senior Hunter Under Saddle, Amateur Hunter Under Saddle, was 2nd in Open Hunter Hack, and 4th in Green Hunter Under Saddle. At a Quarter Horse show the following weekend he picked up ˝ a point in Hunter Under & 1 point in Hunter Hack. In 2008 He won the Hunter Hack and also placed high in the Hunter Unders at the Regional. We have won various English & western classes at local open shows.
He is going great over fences & on the flat English. This is his first year as a senior horse and we are a little behind getting him in the bridle for western, but he has a good start. He is also doing well on his lead changes, but will take a little more time before he is totally solid on them. “Buddy” is a beautiful, correct mover and very pretty to watch - I think he will make an awesome all around horse.
He does have an old tendon injury (an ultrasound has shown this to be cleared up), but the vet recommends that he continues to wear egg bar shoes to give him more support all the way around. Buddy has been in training with Tim Phillips since I have owned him and has shown him as well as myself. We did take a video of the Regional.
