A little bit about Charley. He was rescued by a friend of mine from owners that were letting him slowly deteriorate to death in a dirt pasture. Offering no feed or grain and not caring. Through the hardship though you would never know Charley has seen a rough day in his life. Hes a total sweetheart with no spook or vice. Loves treats, lunges in the round pen or, more conveniently, at the end of his lead rope, comes right up to you in the pasture, loves his stall, enjoys paths, stands for ferrier, loads, ties, bathes, UTD on everything, sound feet all around, loves the trails and has to be the leader. (of course he doesnt HAVE to be the leader but hed prefer it that way). Gives good rides to kids and husbands, doesnt mind to run but walks calmly at all times instructed, no bad habbits. Hes really a great guy and Ill hate to see him go but cannot afford a second horse any longer. Im just glad I was apart of helping Charley get back to the horse he was meant to be. He is still about 100 lbs underweight as you can see in the pictures but Ive got him on 12% feed and straight alfalfa so Im hoping to fatten him up withen the next month. E-mail me with any further questions you may have or simply call me any time of day on my cell phone 813-802-0126. Thank you! Chelsea Chancey |
