7yr appendix QH gray 16H Geld

| | Hi we are looking to sell this gelding, He is out of appendix quarter horse, tall lean long build, 16.1 hands gray color with the black skin dark main and tail, so is the pretty grey horse, long legs, long smooth stride. Broke to ride and our daughter (10 yr old now) has been riding him at 4h all summer, but he really is not a good fit for kids at this time I would say,
His story is He origianally had 90 days as a 3 year old, then the people never rode after that, we have had him for 2 years and ridden very littel until this summer, then made my 10 yr old get on him, so he is dependable is not a dead head and not hyper, I just see him pulling little things like pulling the reins out away up from her. Or not going when she kicks him. I don want him to learn any really bad habits. So he is going before that happens.
He would make a great jumper or barrel and pole horse. He is long strided tall and smooth ride. He is good in arena, and from home through town, good to load in straight two, shoes, so so trim with elec clipers, needs more work with that. He sets up for show and does good at halter, he side passes to right not great to left. He was to the mountains with previeous owners but not sense us. and will jump over water. We have worked with that and he will step in now. He just is young minded.
Health wise, he was shot with 5 way this spring, has shoes on and we just had his teeth floated by equine dentist. We use a regular worming program, He is sound solid and healthy even though stays lean built. Can bring him to the fair grounds for ridding, I have even put my 2 year old up on him and led her around, he is a good boy but I would say he needs someone with horse sense to finish him out. He is really willing and learns fast, Just my 10 yr old doesn have enough exp to train.
