Blackstone is an elegant and correct Double Registered American Warmblood Society & 1/2 Arabian gelding who would make an excellent sporthorse prospect. He has a lovely head and neck and Warmblood type gaits that would allow him to be very competitive in dressage or eventing. Blackstone is quite athletic and very intelligent. He is sweet and interested in what is going on and he likes people. His sire, Bey Shahn is a gorgeous stallion who is producing offspring that are winning in the show arena. Blackstone is Iowa Gold Star Futurity Nominated. Blackstone should mature to 16 hands and he is very pretty which will help to get him noticed! This is a very smart young horse who is now on the way to being a riding horse. Blackstone is good to groom, picks up his feet and has been taught to lunge. **UPDATE - Blackstone is now walk, trot, cantering under saddle (started with a western saddle) and has now progressed to basic dressage training with an eventing trainer. He is starting to understand giving to the bit and rounding his body while being ridden. Blackstone has very pretty gaits under saddle and is a serious dressage prospect. He enjoys being worked and is very engaged. Blackstone is also being ridden outside. |
