| Angel is a home grown girl... we have had our hands on her since before she hit the ground. She is not registered but is out of a beautiful bay and white mare that i owned and ran barrels on. I have sold her mother but she is still available to be seen, I also have tons of pictures of her so you can see her near perfect comformation and huge build!!! Angels dad, Peponitadirtywite boy, is a registered AQHA Perlino who is out of Peponitas Blue Shadow, who is a big time stud here locally. His bloodline goes back to Mr Salty Peponita, Peponita, Peppy San,Docs Gold Mine, Holywood Gold, Doc Bar, Three Bars, Poco Tivio and Poco Bueno on his sires side. His bloodline goes back to Poco Tatio, Poco Bueno, King Dunnys Doll, and Three Bars on his dams side.
Angel had a clean coggins pulled on March 4 of this year. She has regular visits to the farrier, her last trim was on July 20th making her due the 31st of August. She was last wormed on July 13th with Equimax and I worm mine every 2 months so she will be due the 13th of September. I have a health record on her since her birth, including how much she weighed and how tall she was the day after her birth!!! It includes all the dates she was wormed and the wormer used, also it shows her heights and weights on there. The las time I measured her she was 13.3 and 1/2 hands tall and that was the day of her last trim AFTER she was trimmed.
Angel will be probably the best 16 month old you could ever have the pleasure of being around or owning. She ties, cross ties, clips, bathes, stands for farrier, loads, unloads, longes both ways, lounges under saddle, stands while saddling, take a bit, ground drives, is handled by my 4 and 7 year old children, they both have even rode her out on the lounge line and even bare back around the yard with me leading her. She has been hauled to shows since she was itty bitty and I have shown her in halter twice this year.
The ONLY reason I am letting her go is... I got laid off before last Christmas, since then I have been able to get a 20 hour a week job, losing 20 of the hours I was used to having and on top of that, I took a $2 pay cut. I have sold everything I have had to sell but the two horses my fiance and I ride, my boys two ponies and her. I have finally come to terms with the fact I do not need her for any reason and there is no sense in speanding money on a horse that I dont need when there is not a good reason, other than sentimental, for keeping her. I waited a long 11 months and lost a lot of sleep running out to check the barn, waiting for her to get here and I really hate to sell her, but I know someone out there will love to own this nice fily and will take care of her and take her to her full potential! She would make a nice rope horse or barrel horse! She is as pretty as they come and will get you noticed! She is what they call a sooty buckskin, meaning she is dark bodied with gold hightlights.
