| This mare is perfect for working, trail rides, etc. She has been in yellowstone on packing trips numerous times. Trail rides like a dream, walks through anything with no hesitation. Has chased bears off in yellowstone while leading a guided ride. She has been used as a bell mare for the mules on pack trips. Shine gets along with other horses but is not herd bound at all. She has a nice extended trot, if you want to go the english route, she has the legs and build for that disposition. We have jumped her over logs on trail rides. She is very sure footed, doesnt miss a step. Shine is an all around, good looking, healthy solid horse. If your looking for a serious mountain trail rider or the family horse at the stables, this mare would fit right in perfectly. Ride her for a little while and you could possibly breed her and have a sharp looking foal. This mare is the same if you ride her everyday or leave her for a month in the pasture.
