| halflinger/spotted saddle cross in the pic thoes people have never rode before and they did great even a 8 yr ild kid rode her just fine fany is 2 but acts 12 we have been riding her all year out in the woods she will ride double swim thru the river night ride ride on the road with cars passing leads the dogs out to the woods of leash not a kicker or criber in the barn she is a billy goat on the trails goes up eveything at a flat foot walk but if needed she is fast we think other then for trail she would make a great older kids horse for contesting she is very quick around the barrells in the right hands could become a champ in a few years (just because of her age) she is going to make a great little kids horse she has a soft mouth she will lead the pack or follow loads great no prob with her feet getting done or shoes putting on her color is 50 50 on black to white easy to catch her olny prob is if you crack her on the butt she does little baby bucks she is buddy sour and she trys and steals are beer cans back in the woods- she will tip the can up to get the last drop! but other then that we have not found no prob with her i have med prob to were i need a gaited horse and she will gait out in the feild but i cant find it under saddle she has the temp of a halflinger but the looks of a spotted saddle will make a great horse for anything you throw at her she is a very quick learner! |
