| SORRY, SCOUT IS ON HOLD FOR NOW! HE TOOK A TOTALLY INEXPERIENCED RIDER ON A COMPLETELY FANTASTIC TRAIL RIDE AFTER BEING IN THE PASTURE FOR 6.5 MONTHS WITH NO WARM UP OR PRIOR PREP AND IN A BITLESS BRIDLE!! TO THE FOLKS THAT INQUIRED PRIOR TO TODAY...YOU SURE PASSED UP AN ABSOLUTE WINNER...IF THIS RIDER DOES NOT CONTINUE TO KEEP HIM RIDDEN, I MAY RELIST....JUST DONT KNOW FOR SURE RIGHT NOW...
He crosses water, downed trees, or whatever gets in our way. I set up a game area in my pasture and he does really well with this, opening / closing mailbox, crossing logs, walking over a tarp, going under a cover, diagnoals, picking up ball off of a cone and placing on another cone, backing through an L...he is just fun. His back up gear is awesome. I would say that Scout would be okay for an experienced beginner...maybe a youth that knows how to ride and wants to compete in games or he is good for trail riding. Scout is familiar with lateral flexion, yielding the hindquarters, one rein stops, etc. He hasnt been ridden for a couple of months, well, since the Ward ride in March, but he usually jumps back into action without too much of a problem. For anymore info, please just email me your questions and Ill be glad to tell you everything that I know about him. He is a nice horse...dont sit back and miss this one!! Hes UTD on coggins and immunizations. I dont think there is a limit as to what this horse could do. Oh yeah, he will ride bareback and I have ridden my 6 y/o nephew on him in a buddy seat.
