| Lucky is a six year old quarter pony bay mare that my daughter has been riding close to two years. We got her as a four year old and had her in professional training. My daughter has been riding her at lessons, in trails and pastures, summer horse camps and playdays. Lucky is healthy and sound and has negative coggins. My daughter is ready for a step up horse, so we put Lucky on the market. Until just recently, we had never seen the pony be anything but sweet. And certainly still loves the attention, stands for farrier and loads great. She gets along with other horses in the pasture and is easy to catch and keep. After wed had several people come try her out ( a few who were ready to buy), we had a two times where she acted up before the sale went through and I can not sell her as bomb proof. She did not throw my daughter, but she did a few crow hops and rared a little. Now, we had just gotten some new tack/blanket and so it may be an equipment problem. We will try to work on that while she is still here. Original asking price was $1200, but now only asking half that. Lucky has been such a great teacher and friend for my daughter and hope she will be that for someone new. |
