Pandora is a 2 Year Old Filly! This Premium Oldenburg filly is currently 17 hands and will probably finish at close to 18 hands. She is fully papered by GOV and is microchipped. (German Oldenburg Verband)
Her pedigree is a whos who of jumping.
She is sired by Pilox who competed successfully in Gernany and has sired many winning horses in Europe. His son Periziso S was also imported from Germany and is currently winning at Grand Prix under Lauren Hough.
Her mother was imported and is a direct daughter of the famous Cordalme Z, so she has bloodlines very desirable in this country if she were to be bred.
She is born to jump but her unflappable temperament, good looks and floating, lovely gaits makes her owner think she may be destined for the hunter or dressage ring. She is a bright bay with a star and two
even hind socks. She is a good girl who leads nicely, cross ties, stands for vet, and farrier and has worn a saddle with no fuss. She is absolutely a giant labrador - loves her people and food! Friendliest young horse I have ever dealt with. Her mother had some issues after foaling so she was in the barn after she was born and was thoroughly imprinted and loved upon by the Virginia Tech working students who were working at Highlife farms at the time she was born. Since then she has been out to graze and grow with 24 hour access to pasture and shelter to develop those big bones the best way possible.
As mentioned above, although Pandora was bred to be a top jumper, it is our belief that she would make a super dressage prospect. The dam line of Pilox, her sire, is ANGRIFF. Angriff is from the same line as another jumper bred Westphalian - who grew up to be very accomplished as a WORLD CHAMPION dressage horse .. AHLERICH.
