| | Just turned a year old, beautiful and rare colored filly-healthy & sound. I bought this little filly from a very abusive owner. She was scarred to death of humans but after hours and hours of sitting in the horses area and holding her food dish she came around. Now she loves human contact and she even let me brush her(she was a mess!!!). I am now working with her with a lead rope-she still remembers being choked by it but with alot of will power on my part she calms down and realizes she is not being hurt by it and will walk beside me until one of the other horses come at her and I have to let her go. All she needs is someone to keep loving on her and working with her and she would mature into a pretty riding horse for someone. Just took weight and height measurements - 11-30-09 - SHE WAS SUPPOSE TO BE SOLD BUT THE LADY BACKED OUT AND FORGOT ABOUT HER TIL I GOT AHOLD OF HER A MONTH LATER SO SHE IS BACK ON SALE LOOKING FOR A GOOD HOME. Very very sweet little filly!!!
I do not drive much cuz of my disability so I will not be doing any transporting I feel anyone that is truly interested in my horses and wanting them to really want them and give them a permanent good home will want to come see them themselves instead of what I have been watching at auctions where people only want to make a quick buck and buy horses cheap and take them back to the auction to resale them and who knows where they end up at. Also none of my horses are registered I was never interested in that cuz I was not going to put my companion through all the hard training to be a show horse or race horse or anything like that so to me you cannot ride a piece of paper.
We been working with putting a bareback saddle on her and leading her she has done very well so far did not even move when I put the saddle on her and took off a few times, matter of fact she liked it!!! Oh and goodness she luvs playing in water you can spray her and she will walk right to the water hose or she will play in the water trough.
