| Miss Maggie Mae is a 9year old quarter horse cross, she is a deep bay with 2 hind socks and a star. Maggie stands at 14.3 hands, and is amazing on the ground. Listens to her handler and has impeccable ground manners, quiet enough for a child to lead around. Riding wise I would call Maggie green broke. She walks and trots under saddle, - and can ride in a simple snaffle bit or a bit less bridle - but has not yet begun cantering. She has had a late start to life, but is a very quick learner. She is very trusting of her handler. I am selling her as I really need a kid broke horse, and while i truly believe she could be one in time, I do not have the time to finish her. This is her only reason for sale. Would consider an off farm lease for $100 a month, or on farm at an area barn (my stalls are currently full and we have a horse coming once she is sold/leased). She would do really well with a teenager or advanced rider to work with her.
