I’ve been raising TWH’s since late ‘70’s and this is the most independent foal that I have ever had. Spirit has been handled since birth. She does not trail her mare. When we feed she will go directly into the middle of other mares for her hay and has absolutely no fear and they accept her willingly. Then when she wants to nurse, off to Whiskers (Painted Maiden) who is a very good mare, and then back on her own again. She loves her rub downs and comes right up to us when she sees us around. Halter broken and leads willingly. She is husky and straight legged. She is going to make someone a wonderful show, or trail companion. A great addition to any breeding program.
