| “Daisy” is a truly GORGEOUS buckskin tobiano filly with all the makings of a champion: proven bloodlines, excellent conformation, and a sweet personality! She is easy to work with and already leads quietly, ties, and picks up her feet. We are planning on showing her as a weanling in the SDPHC Futurity this fall – provided she does not sell before then – and fully expect her to place well. She is super-correct with good bone, straight legs, and a refined head and neck.
Daisy is out of our buckskin tobiano mare Scribblesbuckskindude, a proven futurity money-producing dam! Her foals are born performers and have excelled at whatever work they have been put to. We have had the pleasure of starting two of them ourselves, one of which sold to California where she went on to become a regional Western Pleasure Champion. Daisy’s double-homozygous full brother is currently standing at-stud in Canada, and we have received nothing but excellent feedback from his current owners regarding his patience, athleticism, and willingness to learn.
Daisys sire is Even Havens Dr Zeuss, an own son of Sonny’s Amigo Bar -- sire of champions in virtually every discipline. Her papers also include MK’s Black Pepper, who is considered one of the most influential sires in APHA History. On the bottom side, Daisy’s pedigree traces back to the famous Scribbles.
This is a filly who will do it all! Show her in halter, performance, and then breed her – with her looks, color, and pedigree, she will be an asset to any breeding program. She is homozygous for the black gene and will produce only foals with black mane and tail. She is the perfect all-around prospect with the looks and versatility to go any direction!
