   | | | Dixie is a beautiful appaloosa mare that is 15.1 hands and a bit on the stocky side. I was told this horse was trained on cattle when I bought her but I have not worked cattle with her. She has a great personality and is loving and loves attention. I use her as a trail horse. I have had no problems with her, she listens and she does what she is asked. She can be a bit stubborn sometimes but it is very mild, she will turn one way (slowly) and all you have to do is turn her back and thats the max of her stubborness. I would think she would need an advanced beginner to intermediate rider because I do not think a complete beginner would know what to do. The only reason that she is being sold is my husband bought a walking horse and she just cannot keep up with his pace even though she is a fast walker, so I have decided to buy a walking horse too so we can ride together. I WOULD LIKE TO SELL HER ASAP SO THE PRICE IS A BIT NEG. |
