| Chance is a beautiful Bay Arab / quarter mix. He was sold to me as a wonderful, sound, experienced trail horse. Well, Chance was drugged prior to purchase. He is a sweet boy, but he has laminitis. According to the farrier, he is on the down hill side of it now. His hooves are growing out nicely. He DOES NOT show any signs of pain. I was able to get some weight off of him, so hopefully he will be fine in a few more months. Can you give him a good home? He doesnt need much food. His weight has to stay under control. He is a good companion horse. He would make a good horse for someone who might want him to have to lead the kids around on or to teach them balance. To ride him alone, I would suggest an experienced rider due to him having a big motor. If you have no way to pick up, we could bring for fuel money only...no charge for our time. Please, good home only with sane handlers. Like I said, hes a good boy, just needs love and attention. |
