| SWEET HORSE! Ember is a 12 yr old 14.2h sorrel quarter horse cross. He is very sweet and intelligent, rides english or western (direct or neck reins), perfect for teenager or smaller adult. He has been ridden on the trails with other horses by absolute beginners, was perfect. Not scared of dogs or traffic. Any time family or friends visit, this is the horse they ride. He is calm under saddle, somewhat lazy at times, and has never bucked. He absolutely loves attention, enjoys treats, and loves to be brushed. I have ridden him at the walk/trot/canter bareback. He prefers to ride in a hackamore, whoever owned him before us was very rough on his mouth. However, he can be ridden in a snaffle or grazing bit. He can also be ridden in just a halter and leadrope. He would make an excellent lesson horse. He is a super easy keeper. He doesnt need to be blanketed in the winter, however he does need access to shelter and 24/7 access to water of course. He gets vitamins, has access to a mineral/salt block, had his teeth checked in April (good to go at least a year), dewormed regularly, and stands for farrier. He has good legs, strong feet (always barefoot), stands tied, clips, and bathes. We are only selling because we were given a rescue horse who needs lots of attention, and we just dont have time to work with him anymore. I am 8 months pregnant, and therefore havent been able to ride him since last October. Asking $1000 OBO to good home.
