| | | This horse had foundered in his past but is completely sound. This is why he is not expensive. He is well trained and quiet. He has been on 20mile road ride partys and never came up sore or lame. He trailers great and stands for farrier very well. Loves the trails. Needs a light leg and relaxed hands. I use a tom thumb on him.He can be stalled or pastured.I do not recommend thick grass fields in the spring. He did not founder with me this is something that happened in his past. He was too good of a horse to not help out with his feet, but I have lost my job and need to place him in a home that will keep him shod until he has grown the seedy toe out. This will take up to six months. He is being trimmed about every 6 weeks.Foundered feet grow fast until the seedy toe is gone. He would be well worth the investment to someone that wants a trustworthy horse.
Will deal with cash only on the sale. |
