| “Macintosh Rose” AKA Mac. 6 year old registered AQHA gelding. Bloodlines include Colonel Freckles, Quincy Dan, Leo, Three Bars, and Joe Reed II. Bred to be a cowhorse and has the moves to do it. Really fun little gelding, definitely the barn favorite and offical greeter. Good groundmanners, clips, ties, bathes, stands well for the farrier and cooperates perfectly with the vet. Very amiable personality, loves every horse and human. He has gorgeous floaty movement., and works off of his hind end very well. Not spooky at all, I have ponied him all over Poway and he loves trails. Very calm and levelheaded horse, not a buck, kick, bite or rear in him. He has been in training for 2 months with a gentle natural horsemanship trainer (Lyons and Hunt) and can be saddled and is ready to start mounting. He does have a noticeable swayback, but with muscle building and working him undersaddle it has improved greatly. I am in college and do not have the time or money to support multiple horses, so he needs to go fast. I would consider any reasonable offer OR a trade for a high quality trail/pleasure saddle. |
