| Shaata (Shot-a) is a beautiful performance built mare. Tall and muscular, standing 15.1hh. Shown halter, hunt and western as a younger mare in 4-H and Open. Used lately for Civil War reenacting, as a cavalry mount, and trail riding horse. Solid on the trail, crosses water, bridges, never spooks or shies from a new adventure. Very quiet on the trail. Given pony rides to younger children.
Shows potential as an endurance horse. Could also return to the show ring as an open show horse in Hunter or Western.
Good ground manners, loads, clips, bathes, stands quiet for vet and farrier.
Proven broodmare, had a correct bay filly in 2004. Muscat bloodlines on the bottom. Polish, Russian and Crabbet breeding.
Easy keeper, gets along well with other horses. Used to dogs and goats.
Would consider trade for: 6-10 year old gelding, Morgan, Thoroughbred, or crosses. Preferabily a horse with show jumping experience. |
