| Captain is registered with the APHA and we have his papers. He is 11 years old and 16.o hands. I have had him for a little over a year and sadly have to sell him because I am going away to college. He can be ridden english or western. Before we got him he was even in training to work cattle. He can definitely excel in any direction you want to take him. He clips, trailers, ties, etc. and loves attention! He is 100% sound and is just a big puppy. He is UTD on all his worming, shots, and just had his teeth floated. I bought him for $7000 but Im not looking to make money, just have him go to a good home, so that is why Im selling him for much less. I will even consider other offers as long as he goes to a good home and the offers are reasonable. He just needs someone who can work with him and bring him back to how he used to be due to the fact that I havent had as much time to ride him as much as I would have liked and he has just gotten a little lazy. Due to that, he would do much better with a more advanced rider who can work with him. With just a little refresher course, he will be back to his old self in no time! He is very smart and a quick learner.
I would also consider a trade for an safe and reliable trail horse.
