| Clyde is a beatifully built 15 year old sorrel gelding. He is bred and built to run and would have excelled at barrels, but due to several back surgeries I never got a chance to get him going. He would sit for a couple of years without being ridden. After the long breaks, I would lunge him and off we would go on a trail ride. He has never tried to buck. If he sees something that he is unsure of he simply stops, processes it, then continues on. Despite his lack of experience, he is a wonderful horse that is very intellegent and really wants to please. Picks up on things very quickly. Been getting a lot more miles on him lately. Was recently at the trainers to get reconditioned. I would not consider him a beginners horse due to his size and lack of miles. I would feel most confortable with him going to a someone who is atleast an advanced beginner to intermediate rider. Loads and trailers well (even in a little two horse). Gets along well with other horses and is bottom as far as pecking order goes. Easy keeper.
