QH Mare With Foal Need Rescue

|  | | This is a heartbraking situation with a 15 yr old QH Mare and her little foal waiting for rescue at a feedlot. SOS Equines is trying to save them both together to let this little foal keep her mom instead of being orphaned if the mare is shipped for slaughter. The mare is Lady Bug and has even let another older foal nurse from her. She could make someone a good nurse mare. The foal is Cricket and cute as can be. Mom & baby are sorrel with long white strips down their faces. Help us save them! We have only a little time to get them adopted. Please see more photos at our website
