 | | This is a black quarter horse mare that stays jet black even during the hottest time of the summer. She was foaled May 4, 1997, and has raised some nice babies. She goes back to Browns Firefly twice, a mare the Haythorns think of so highly in their breeding program. On her bottom side she goes back to Tough Bar and Sitting Bull. Tough Bar was out of Tonto Bars Gill who was owned by the Gill Cattle Company in California.
I do not really want to sell this mare, but I would if I could get $7,500.00.
If you like black quarter horses, take a long look at this one. She is
surely one of the best foundation broodmares in the breed. She has an old scar from a wire cut on her chest, but it does not hurt her at all.
DIXIANA HAD A BEAUTIFUL BLUE ROAN FILLY ON FEBRUARY 26 , 2007. This is Miss Tough Dixiana and her 2008 Figure Four Fritz filly . The baby was born on March 25th . This picture was taken on March 30th .
I believe we will have another blue roan when this one sheds off .
