Great All Around Quarter Horse

 | | Skip is a gorgeous 7 year old gray quarter horse gelding. He could be used for just about anything. I have ridden Skip both western and English. I have jumped him at home many times and we’ve made it up to 3 foot. However I believe his greatest skill is barrel racing. Skip has been around the barrels some has competed a few times so far. Last show season I started him on barrels and 2 weeks later I raced him in an open barrel race and we placed 3rd. He has done really well barrel racing and I think he could really do well with someone who will continue to train and compete him. Skip is not a really rambunctious horse, but he would do better with an intermediate rider because he can act a little ornery sometimes and he needs someone to show him who’s boss. Skip is also a very good trail horse. I have ridden him all over the country side where I live. He is used to the many sights of animals and vehicles, and will even go threw ponds.He has been riden threw parades, and will also ride double. He loads into trailers very well, but he doesn’t like straight load trailers. He will stand tied; can be bathed, clipped,wormed and shoed. He is a very good loving horse who needs someone who will give him a good home and do something with him. He would make an awesome barrel or trail horse. The only reason he is being sold is because I have left for college and I have to sadly sell him. You can e-mail or call me anytime.
