| Gwain is 17.2 hands, dark bay with 2 white socks in back, and is coming 7 in May. He is correct and sound. He is warmblood in type. He has a short back and long legs, and is very agile. He wears a wide tree, not draft size, and a normal girth, I can ride him comfortably (I am 5 foot three) as can my husband who is 6 foot two. He has been in training with a dressage rider since April 2007. Last summer he did 2 mock fox hunts and 2 pair paces, as well as taking champion in a small hunter show. He jumps high, tight and even. His movement is nice enough for dressage. I think he would make an outstanding eventer or jumper, or even a dressage horse. He has a really nice, easy going manner, but he is definitely not a dead sided drafty. This guy will take you where you want to go, whether it is champion ribbons or trail rides, and be your buddy while doing it! |
