 | | If you are looking for a show stopper look no further. We would like you to meet Vegas, a 16.3 mare with sorrel with flaxen mare. This picture does not even do her justice. Her color is amazing and her conformation is even better. She is quite and rides along the trail with no problem and is easy to handle. Vegas has good straigh strong legs with good bone deep chest for easy breething while she runs. Vegas has a speed index of 104 so you know this pretty girl can do more then just walk along the trails, she can really turn the speed on. We are working her on the barrel pattern and she is getting better and better by the day. She moves well off of your leg and just bends in half around the barrel. With her strech and reach she moves a quick and turns hard. Even with less the 8 solid runs on the mare she is pulling down times in the 18 range. So that tells you with someone wo is really ready to work a young mare and get her finshed and automatic on the patter they will have no problem making her a 1D barrel horse. Even for someone wh ois not intrested in doing that this mare would be outstanding for playdays and trails. Vegas has tons of training under the english saddle as well and would work well for someone looking for a jumper prospect or a dressage horse. She has all the basic movements down under the english saddle and is very willing and collects herself up well. She is very soft and flexes well at the pole. She is very responsive to light pressure as well as leg cues, rein cues, and verbal cues. She picks up all her gaits then holds them with out any problem, her collected and extended movements are both outstanding. She moves from the shoulder and is very flat kneed with an outstanding rythem in her movements.
