Marks gentle nature and ease of handling is being passed on to his foals. His foals are all very calm as well and a joy to work with. Mark will produce color on all mares except for gray, where there is a 50/50 chance of the foal being gray. Mark has outstanding Breeding. Champions everywhere. Mark is an easy to handle stallion that can be handled by anyone. He is quite enough to ride in the pasture with mares and never show out. When Mark is in the breeding pen here you can walk in at any time and tell him halter and he will walk to you and drop his head into the halter. He does not fight or run or try to stay with the mares. When he is done covering the mare he is done. He is easy to hand breed but is a great pasture breeder and excepts new mares in his herd easy. He is great in the pasture as well with the mares and the foals too. MArk not only is a great breeding stallion but also a great riding stallion as well. He has been roped off of and is quite in the box. He will track like a champ and turn a steer as well as catch both heels. He has been shown in local open shows and done well in pleasure classes and in showmanship and halter. He has a good handle on him and has been used for trail riding and for doctoring and workng cattle. As we have a working cattle operation he is use to being ridden out accross the pasture to doctor sick cattle and move the bulls. Mark even works well in the pens. He will load in a trailer along side the cattle with out a fuss and has been used in the sell barn many times as well as at the local feed lots. If you are hauling your other horses you don have to worry he can trailer right along side of whatever horses you have. All of this being said mark has really not been worked with on ridding in about 2 years and we saddled him and worked him for the first time the other day and he did fine he just acted like he was lazy more then anything else. So with a little refresher he will be back to his cow eating ways in no time. I think this is a rare find, easy to handle, color and rides all in the same stallion, don pass him up!
