Joe is people friendly but not treated as a pet. If he sees you, he will nicker quite loudly, and hope you come over to groom him. He learned to halter/ lead and pick up all hooves in only a few minutes at the age of 6 weeks. Joe has been handled properly since birth & has NO obnoxious behaviors. Joe is well mannered, respectful, easy to catch & halter, handled by children. He yields to pressure, pivots forehand/hindend, backs with signal of finger. He loves to be groomed so much he would stand still for hours for a grooming session. He is the best mover of this year’s foal crop with 3 nice fluid, flat kneed gaits. Joe has proven that he is a quick learner, wants to please and is super easy to train & charismatic personality. He would be perfect for someone who wants to train their own horse, even for the novice horseman. UTD on all cares & has been farrier trimmed since 6 wks of age. He stands still for shots,de worming, ties & bathes. The reality is we are a breeding business & can’t keep all of our foals. He will make someone a very nice horse. You will not be disappointed.
