View More Photos | | Chance is a coming 3 year old (DOB 4/3/05). He is a gelding lightly started under saddle, He is still learning but has been exposed to a lot already. Chance is being ridden in a sidepull on work days and in a halter on days that we don want to be formal. He accepts a saddle well, stands for mounting and loves people. Chance went to the American Heart Association Ride this past Nov. Due to his young age he did not get to go on the whole ride but did great on his short trip. It was enough to expose him to a bunch of super scary things like hundreds of strange horses/people/cars/dogs/ a 200 pound bull being ridden on the beach, a surfer dude and the ocean. He handled it well. Chance does well both on a picket line or in a panel stall while on a camping trip. He rides well in a stock trailer or my three horse slant that is very closed in. He baths, picks up his feet, meets you at the gait ( no chasing this guy he is right there) and will stand still for a hug or kiss. Chance is very nicely and consistantly gaited. I enclosed a picture of him as a yearling being ponied so you can see him clipping along in his gait. If you are interested in a nice quiet Paso (I know he looks appy but trust me he is a Paso), I can send video clips and or pictures of Chance. Just let me know what you would like to see. I will be starting his younger brother this spring so Chance needs to find his life trail partner. |
