View More Photos | | | I cant say enough about Bo. Bo is the type of horse you can take on a trail ride all day long or put him in an arena with cattle and work him. He is never hot...not in the arena or out on the trails in the timber. He is really a one-of-a-kind horse that has an incredible handle on him. You can steer Bo backwards better than most horses forwards. He spins, backs, side passes and neck reins with just a touch. My daughter shows Bo in halter, western pleasure and trail class and Bo has never finished in anything less than first place. In 2007, Bo won Grand Champion Open Halter! He clips great, great with shoeing, and hell load himself into the trailer....seriously! Just lead Bo to within 10-15 feet of the trailer and let him go...hell load himself. Bo has NEVER offered to buck, rear up, run off, or spook at anything with us....NEVER! Hes been on week long trail rides and stayed tied up all day and all night without making a fuss at all. In the arena, you can lope soft circles around a steer or run one down the rail...your choice. The only reason we are selling Bo is because he is my wifes horse and she only trail rides and she really doesn do much of that. We are not horse traders or brokers, we are just a family selling one of our horses. Weve ridden Bo through deep creeks, over logs, under bridges, on roads with traffic, in parades, out of the roping box, etc. We have never found anything that scares this horse in the three years weve had him. If you ride Bo, youll take him home. Serious inquiries only. Bo will only go to a good safe home or well keep him. E-mail or call. If no answer, just leave me a message and Ill get right back to you. Ive listed Bo with a temperament of 2 only because I really dont think that any horse with his abilities should be listed as a 1. Anyone can ride Bo but I wouldnt sell him for a small childs mount or as a first horse just because hes a stout, well put together horse that has a lot of training. That being said though, my youngest is now 12 and rode him since he was 10. |
